Sheren Tang first well known drama was New Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre (TVB, 1986), although she played as a supporting role. Sheren casted as Zhou Zhiruo (the main actress was Kitty Lai who roled as Zhao Min)
After the death of Barbara Yung Mei Ling in 1985, TVB he found a successor in the person of Sheren Tang. This proved very talented actress, and has quickly leave the shadow of the defunct Yung.
Not like another successfull TVB Actress who got a fame before by a beauty contest, Sheren Tang had enrolled in drama school chain, sure of his artistic talents. After more than 10 years of loyal service, she felt the need to look elsewhere. It then sets turn to Taiwan, China, or the rival TVB: ATV. Sheren was cast in her first role in The Legend of the General Who Never Was 1985 with Alex Man as his leading lady.
After 24 years wandering the world of acting, Sheren Tang finally crowned as Best Actress Award: Sheren Tang "Rosy Business" in TVB 42 Anniversary Awards. Casted as Hong Bo Kei 康寶琦 (Fourth wife), Sheren Tang had won many fans heart, together with her partner in the series, Wayne Lai.
